Colorado-Fayette Medical
Center has a great location that is within close
proximity to three of the most interesting
cities in Texas - Houston, Austin and San
Antonio. Each is an easy one and one-half hour
drive from Weimar. There are, also, many
other interesting smaller towns close to the
Medical Center. These include Round Top, New
Braunfels and Brenham. In addition, Central
Texas has a great climate that has mild winters
and long hot summers.
Central Texas is full of
interesting and culturally diverse people. Many
of the residents of the area are European
descendents with strong German, Czech and
Bohemian backgrounds.
Physicians on our staff enjoy
a relaxed informal lifestyle and typically have
equal or better call schedules than doctors
working in urban areas. Most are able to spend
more time with their family. The income
potential is also greater for primary care
physicians practicing in rural areas.
